About the Author
Terri Martin has lived in Michigan's Upper Peninsula (the U.P.) for 26 years. She bases a lot of her books on the culture, characters, and natural beauty of the area. Top Horse is the third book in the Kat Wilde U.P. Mystery series, and continues the story of a determined Gen Zer, who juggles a struggling horse stable, a "pity" job, and a precarious romance with the local conservation officer. The second book in the series, Straw Horse, is the recipient of the U.P. Notable Book Award.
Terri owned, showed, trained, boarded, and fox hunted with horses for many years. Her experience and love of horses, along with other critters is reflected in the Kat Wilde series. She also has three humorous anthologies (previously published in UP Magazine) a humorous novel, Moose Willow Mystery, and two middle-grade children's books.
